During the last two decades, Mr. Rocky Costello has focused his attention on the field of chemical plant design serving the engineering needs of distinguished organizations throughout the U.S., Mexico, Asia and Europe. Mr. Costello, who is Founder and President of R.C. Costello & Associates, specializes in process intensification and process safety in addition to maintaining a commanding influence in the areas of renewable and alternative energies including biodiesel, biogas and syngas purification. His company, R. C. Costello & Associates, Inc. headquartered in Redondo Beach, California has received recognition as the North American leader in Process Intensification. With an eye always on the future, Mr. Costello has been known to bring numerous organizations through periods of growth and change, specializing in advanced and emerging chemical and environmental technologies, which includes novel reaction technologies, extraction, distillation and others. To date his company has served the chemical, petrochemical, natural gas, petroleum refining and pharmaceutical industries.

Throughout his dynamic professional life, Mr. Costello has played a key role in successfully helping to support organizations through plant expansions and modifications, thereby boosting productivity and greatly augmenting profitability. Earlier in his career, Mr. Costello shared his expertise at several well-recognized companies including Rhône-Poulenc, Owens Corning Fiberglas and Stauffer Chemical where he was credited with exceptional process engineering, project engineering, plant operations/troubleshooting, as well as plant, project and sales management. He also served a number of years in the oil patch working in the natural gas processing arena, specifically in the removal of hydrogen sulfide from natural gas and the conversion to sulfur using Aquaclaus Technology.

Mr. Costello earned a BE degree in Chemical Engineering from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio and fulfilled graduate work at Manhattan College in New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and holds several patents in waste processing and colloidal separations as well as holding three invention disclosures. Mr. Costello has earned a distinct standing in the business community as an ethical individual with a remarkable talent for achieving extraordinary results.
